Welcome to the 2025–26 School Year!

We are happy to welcome our students back on Tuesday, September 2nd for a full day of school.
We have a full calendar planned and are excited to begin the year with your family.

First Day Reminders:

• Arrival: Doors open at 8:50. Please do not drop off earlier. For safety, parents will not be able to enter the building, but don’t worry—we’ll have plenty of friendly staff members ready to greet your child and help them find their classroom.

• Dismissal: 3:45 pm – please follow our car pick-up procedures.

• Bus Riders: Bus routes will be available soon on the district website.

Teacher Assignments

Please make sure you know your PIN and password for Parent Connect. You will need this information to complete the Back to School Packet, which verifies that all contact information is correct.

Completing this packet is required in order to see who your child’s teacher will be. Teacher assignments cannot be shared over the phone.

Once this step is completed, you will be able to view your child’s teacher in Parent Connect on Friday, August 22 at 4:00 PM.

• Open House – August 27, 5:00–6:30 PM
  During Open House, you and your child will have the opportunity to meet their teacher and visit their classroom.

  Car Pick-Up Tags

  • Please watch the video linked below to familiarize yourself with our car pick-up procedure.

  • If you are new to our district and will be picking up your child after school, please stop by the lobby during Open House to pick up your car tag.

  • If you already have your car tag from last school year, you do not need a new one—unless you’ve lost it or need a new number assigned.

  Walker Status for the 2025–2026 School Year
  We love seeing our Skyhawks walking home at the end of the day! However, for safety and traffic flow, “walker” status is reserved for families who live within safe walking distance of Erving Elementary.

  This year, all walkers must be approved through a short Walker Request Form so we can verify addresses. Forms will be available at Open House—stop by our table to complete one!

  If your address is outside the walking zone, your child will need to use the car rider line for dismissal. Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe and running smoothly!
