PTO News

We would like to thank all of our Gudith families for their tremendous support of our FABULOUS Trunk or Treat Event. Please consider helping out our PTO. They do a lot for our school and could use a few volunteers to help with various events. You do not need to come to all of the PTO meetings to be a volunteer. They are looking for individuals who can help once or twice per year.

Raptor - WBSD Visitor/Volunteer Management System

Please have your ID with you when you come to visit us!

Our number one priority at Gudith is the safety of our students, staff, and visitors. We have installed the Raptor Visitor Management System to make our building safe. Each time a visitor or volunteer arrives, they are required to immediately report to the main office to scan their identification and receive a visitor's/volunteer badge before they are permitted to enter.

The Raptor visitor management system is used to verify the identity of a visitor, keep track of check-in and check-out times, and print custom visitor labels. It also provides a consistent system to track visitors and volunteers across the district.

Volunteers ARE WELCOME in the building this year.

All volunteers must have a current i-Chat background check on file in the main office. This background check must be done yearly and is good for all students in the district.

I - Chat forms can be found here

The Zones of Regulation ("The Zones")

Gudith Staff and Students will be participating in The Zones of Regulation curriculum, which are lessons to help them gain skills in the area of self-regulation. Self-regulation is defined as the best state of alertness of both the body and emotions for a specific situation. The lessons and learning activities are designed to help the students recognize when they are in the different zones as well as learn how to use strategies to change or stay in the zone they are in.

  • If your student needs assistance exiting the car, you MUST park your car in the lot and walk your student to the front of the school to ensure a safe crossing from the parking lot.

  • Students should not be permitted to walk past parked or moving cars unescorted.

  • Y5-K-1-2nd graders will have outdoor lineup locations marked by teacher names.

  • 3-4 grade students will line up outside at their classroom doors.

Pick Up:

  • Our Y5-K-1-2 graders who are getting picked-up will be escorted to their outside staging locations. Parents should pick up your student from these staging areas.

  • 3-4 Graders will exit from their classroom doors. All 3-4 classrooms are by the patio
